Girl's Voices
At the heart of our work are the stories, perspectives, and leadership of girls themselves. Through initiatives like Girls Speak Out and the Day of the Girl Summit, girls from diverse backgrounds are invited to share their lived experiences, solutions to pressing issues, and visions for the future. These platforms empower girls to speak directly to decision-makers, influence policy, and inspire peers globally. Their voices guide our advocacy and remind the world that meaningful change must be led by girls, for girls.
What We DO
WGG will work to support human and legal rights of girls everywhere, so that girls are represented and respected, as evidenced by international policy and national legislation. We will work together to end gender-based violence, enhance girls’ access to education, healthcare, justice, self-empowerment and economic recognition via peace, security, resources, programs and funding.
We will extend our support to the full education and training of girls (and those who teach them), stressing the need for disaggregated data to ensure girls are acknowledged in every urban and rural sector of society.
